Current Projects | Scarf Possibilities
“Scarf Possibilities” 2020 (ongoing series) uses as an initial template, a scarf made for me by my father that over the years became tattered. The template allows for a space where anything can happen, giving room for imagination and play to occur. The mixed media piece is carefully cut up and digitally scanned to reassemble the work as a digital print. This version has been printed onto silk with additional embroidered and appliqued elements displayed on a stretched canvas of linen reminiscent of historic textile remnants in museums.
