Past Work | Projections
Taking the ratio of a film slide and enlarging it as a physical prop, ‘Projections’ uses this as a metaphor for the frame of a painting. Within this frame anything can happen figures are projected into their entities; a girl lying on her back looking up with gloved hands at the tree above, a dead soldier lying heavy by a piano, a raven beaked woman of society draping her way into realness. There are also gaps which allows for interpretation and individual readings which become personal to the viewer as if looking at a painting.
