Past Work | Diners
Two images of the same composition, one takes elements from the other and vice versa. ‘Diners’ considers two viewpoints at the same moment in time, a dinner between two lovers. Elements of the characteristics of the lovers are illustrated whilst others are clearly missing suggesting a difference in understanding. The work aims to explore the misunderstandings that occur in relationships which often cannot be resolved. These moments become etched in one’s memory hinted via the wallpaper of the space they inhabit as a motif moment in time. The projected light highlights the significance of this moment.
